Facebook Starts Cellular Blitz

Tacticians for Facebook are sure about the growth potential when it comes to the cell phone sector. In terms of Facebook users, 13% of them access Facebook via their cell phones. Certain people would consider that figure to be one that shows success. However, Facebook views that figure as one which has no option but to rise higher. Discussions have been started by Facebook with almost everyone in that profession. The aim is to match more Facebook to more cell phones. This incorporates Palm’s extremely awaited Pre and if all goes well, a large number of Nokias.
When it comes to the number of users, Facebook has achieved a user base of more than 220 million users. Considering this figure, its user growth rate might be beginning to slow when it comes to the conventional browser based platform. However a number of actual cellular clients incorporated on leading phones and supported by big wigs like Nokia would be a major boost for Facebook.

As of now nobody knows much in detail. However further information is expected in a couple of days from a source at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. There is a possibility of a number of statements being made by service providers such as Facebook to accompany the new services and handsets from the likes of Samsung, Microsoft and others along those lines.
