Yahoo Music new media player, called FoxyPlayer
Just about a year ago, Yahoo Search conceived a music artist shortcut with an idea of making it much more convenient for users to seek details about favourite artists in form of videos, photographs and sample song tracks apart from official website links – fetched from the suitable search results page.
Yahoo has now unveiled more enhancements after their alliance with Rhapsody. So, users can play well up to 25 full songs for a month in addition to accessing the artist background details. Users can even tap into the comprehensive catalogue of all popular tracks that are available on Rhapsody.
Now you will be able to sing along to Madonna and JT, listen to Rihanna, or even rock out to ‘Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ without leaving your search results page. You simply click a song of your choice and the Yahoo Music new media player, called FoxyPlayer, will be set just near the bottom of the result page.
The player is quite easy to use. It will offer complete functionality for song playback like artist plus song info and also an expandable playlist tab. You will be able to continue browsing the search results page even while the player is being used or simply turn it off at any point of time with a single click.
