Use of SEO and Social Media for the noble cause by UK charities

There are thousands of charities in UK which are engaged in noble cause of service to humanity. It is heartening to note that there is equally good support from the community to help these charities succeed in their endeavour.

Also there are different groups and forums which regularly provide useful hints and suggestions to the charities so that they reach maximum number of people.

A discussion group recently held a comprehensive dialogue on why UK charities should seriously consider using social media marketing and explore search engine optimisation to increase its reach to the new audiences. The group concluded that charities must opt for both.

There was another panel dialogue which took place in a seminar organised by Enable Interactive, where a consensus emerged among the marketers of charitable sector to increase investments on social media substantially.

Dorothea Arndt, manager of new media for the British Red Cross, who also participated in the discussion, informed the panel that social media will serve as a key tool in reaching to the new supporters and inviting them to actively participate in charities. She insisted with the small charities to also allocate budget to SEO.

Henry Palmer, Director of Society Media opines that internet allows charities to enjoy results irrespective of the size of their budget.
