LinkedIn – The new Social Media favorite for partners

Channel partners have recently picked their ideal platform for social media.

For the small and developing marketers or resellers, due to limited marketing resources, the industry is now become a challenge. However, social media has effectively come to the rescue for such companies by providing a concrete platform to display profiles and stay connected with clients.

Recently, a survey by IBM Corp, 45% partners resort to social media strategies for business development, whereas a high 75% are clueless with regards to the entire process.

According to a recent poll, LinkedIn stole the show with a clear 80% of partners monthly visiting the site. YouTube came in second with 77% and Facebook rounded the top three with its 68%. On the other hand, Twitter proved to be a shocker. Even though it proves to be an excellent option for business expansion, it had only 50% of vendors or partners visiting the site monthly.

Social media tools that are directed towards business partners or channel partners are up and running. Once familiar with these tools, the relatively smaller companies can have brighter hopes of expanding business prospects.
