Google Games On
Yes, you read that right! The internet emperor has yet again astonished the world by its decision to displaying their games on social media platforms.
According to WSJ, the information is indeed credible. Google have advanced towards top-of-the-lot gaming studios such as Zynga and Farmville to present their gaming list on such a stage. Google’s recent initiative into the social networking world is rumored to be massive.
It all began in June this year where word about Google’s move was doing rounds. The co-founder of Digg, Mr. Kevin Rose’s tweet stated that Google indeed was conceptualizing on a competitor for social networking giant, Facebook. Moreover, Facebook Executive Mr. Adam D’Angelo opposed rumors stating it to be an actual venture.
Games on social networking platforms have reached soaring heights and are frequented by the millions (800 million Farmville players in May). Such games prove to be a constructive tool/ medium, as they promote the development of effective social media techniques.
At the moment, let us consider patience as our virtue. Once Google steps into the social gaming arena, it is GAME ON!
