A blog a day doesn’t keep the writer’s block away

A common blogging tip that is offered to writers is to undertake the practice of daily writing. You may have come across this astute piece of advice: “Write every day- it doesn’t matter what you write, so long as you’re writing.”

This is undeniably a worthwhile habit for a blog writer interested in building a successful and creative blog. However, this maxim does not take into account an important element that can affect the productivity of the writer.

This key factor is that producing content on a regular basis can have a negative bearing on the value of output. To begin with, the quality of your work gets affected. Moreover, you may wake up one morning and find yourself bereft of ideas when you put pen to paper.

For the above-mentioned reasons, the adage of writing of every day can be adapted to writing for another person each new day. No matter how candid and straightforward one intends to be in his writing, what you jot down in your personal diary and what is meant for public perusal will inevitably vary to a large extent. This change in mindset is brought about by our natural motivation to create a finer piece when we know that it is going to be read by a number of people. In fact, a single client is a strong enough incentive for a blogger  to create top- notch work.

This custom of writing for others enables the blog writer to improve the standard of the work. When you sit at your desk with the purpose of writing for someone other than yourself, your outlook to the writing process alters completely. Writing for others entails flow of the writing, clarity of message, layout of the information and other concerns. An effective method of getting into the habit of writing for others is commenting on other blogs and websites. This will also helps you to forge links with other blog writers that, in turn, enables the development of one’s own blog.

At the end of the day, blogging is all about writing for other people. To maintain the momentum of valuable outputs, carry out a bit of mix n match.
